Maped, established in 1947 in Annecy, France, initially focused on manufacturing traditional brass compasses. For nearly four decades, compass production was their sole activity. However, to cater to the artistic inclinations of children, Maped introduced a new line called Maped Creative. This line is dedicated to providing arts and crafts supplies for young enthusiasts.
