About the Author
Natha Caputo, born Nathalie Bernstein, was a French storyteller of Russian origin. Influenced by the educational theories of Maria Montessori, she began her career as a teacher, and wrote children’s stories inspired by Russian tales heard during her own childhood, such as Roule Galette pour le Père Castor.
